Here at St James everyone is loved, and this will allow all to flourish and unlock their potential whilst promoting joy in lifelong learning. We will use our faith, Gods words and the light he gives to support this.
At our school we expect everybody to:
Show respect
Work together
Try your best
Never give up
Show friendship
Be fair

Each half term, a value is introduced through Collective Worship on a three year rolling program. There are eighteen values altogether: Courage, Trust, Creativity, Justice, Forgiveness, Peace, Humility, Truth, Generosity, Thankfulness, Compassion, Hope, Friendship, Service, Reverence, Wisdom, Endurance and Creation.
We encourage the children at all times to reflect on how the values impact on the way they show and gain respect in their everyday lives. We believe these values enable the school to demonstrate its Christian distinctiveness but also promote the importance of understanding and appreciating other cultures and religions.
